Terms & conditions.

DEPOSIT AND INVOICES
A 50% (total invoice) non-refundable deposit is required to secure your preferred date & time. Your preferred date will be held for you for 24 hours after a quote is sent. The remaining outstanding balance must be paid 7 days prior to your event.

BOND
A $100 refundable bond is also required, this will be added to your invoice. If any items are found broken, ripped, missing or extremely dirty where a replacement is necessary, the $100 bond will not be refunded.

Confetti or paint (kids arts and crafts) is NOT to be used on our tables as these have proven to leave stains/marks. The $100 bond will not be refunded if tables are found to have stains.

WEATHER
Upon booking your date, we require two locations. Your desired outdoor location and an under shelter or indoor location if weather does not permit.
We unfortunately do not reschedule dates due to other bookings.

SET UP
On the day, we set up your picnic at your chosen location and wait for you to arrive at the agreed hiring time. We will return 3 hours later to pack up the site.

PERMITS
Should any local government, or any other regulatory authority fees, charges or permits apply, the client is responsible for obtaining and paying all fees unless Vogue In Picnic agrees to obtain on your behalf. This will be at the expense of the client and will form a part of the quote.

EXTERNAL CATERING
If catering is organised externally by another supplier, all food, packaging and drinks provided by the client must be removed/disposed of by the client. Or you can opt to pay an additional cleaning fee of $50.00 which will be offered within your quote. Part of the bond may be withheld if not removed by the client as this does add more time for our staff to clean which is not factored into your hire fee.

FINAL GUEST NUMBERS AND ITEMS
You will need to inform us of any changes including guest numbers or additional hire items 14 days prior to your event otherwise we will assume your guest numbers remain the same, and the items listed are finalised. Thereafter, you will be charged the quoted amount within the invoice/description of supply. Vogue In Picnic will not contact you to confirm. This responsibility remains on the client.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND HIRE TIME
Public holiday dates will incur a fee of $100.
Our picnic hire time is a total of 3 hours. If you wish to add time to your booking, a $50 per hour fee will be added to your invoice.

ADDITIONAL FEES
Our picnics can be set up anywhere in Melbourne. Travel fees will incur if your location is more than 10km from Essendon. We will discuss travel fees prior to issuing your invoice.

Candles are to be used as decorative only unless otherwise negotiated where an additional fee of $5 per candle applies.

If you require a specific spot, there may be an extra fee depending on how accessible it is for us (considerations to be given to stairs, elevators, uphill walking and distance from the selected site to parking being no greater than 40m).

CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel or reschedule your event within 7 days prior to your confirmed date, the 50% deposit will not be refunded.
